M24: Inverse problems and soliton theory
Soliton theory, in particular, plays an important role in constructing explicit solutions of fundamental equations of mathematical physics and differential geometry. Inverse scattering method is one of the main tools of this theory.
We want to bring together experts working in the field for discussing the recent results, open questions and new directions of research.
